Mother A.M.E Zion Church in Harlem has been a haven for artists and luminaries over the years. In particular three parishioners have had a dramatic impact on history. This has been the impact of the church on this nation. The Three Abolitionists is a reflection of what this country could be. Despite the greed and ambitious aims of slavers and people of industry, truly the light of freedom exists and has been flamed no more than these three. They sat in the same pews and raised hands to the Lord in the place aptly name the Freedom Church.
