"Kindness" was born from a place of emotional contradiction—a moment where I felt both overwhelmed and hopeful. I wanted to create a face that wasn’t about beauty or realism, but about presence: the way someone’s kindness can cut through noise, not because it’s loud, but because it’s honest.
The face in this painting isn’t whole in a traditional sense. It’s made of broken shapes, electric colors, and improvisational marks, but that’s what kindness feels like to me—it’s messy, human, and deeply intentional. I use abstract linework to let the emotion lead, not the form. If you look closely, you’ll see a tension between chaos and care, which I think is where the truest acts of kindness come from.
